Updates, receiving, and payouts

Updates and galleries are public communication records. They have their own draft or publication state and do not affect financial eligibility.

Receiving settings define how an eligible organization accepts new gifts: processor and routing mode, external fallback URL, suggested amounts, recurring defaults, fee handling, acknowledgement copy, and tax-letter settings where supported.

Balance & payouts reflects money already available and the resulting payout activity. It is not the place where recipient eligibility is granted.

Only a platform administrator can enable or disable new donations for a recipient profile. Organization managers can maintain eligible receiving details but cannot bypass that control.

Disabling new donations does not automatically cancel existing scheduled gifts. Those schedules retain their own state and are evaluated when future charges are attempted.
