Data ownership and corrections

Homeward’s record boundaries determine the correct repair path:

  • Public identity, story, media, and contact channels belong to the profile.
  • Private identity data remains on the person’s private record.
  • Regulator identifiers, verified names, governance, and annual financials belong to a country-specific legal entity.
  • Organization roles, profile-management grants, and platform roles are separate access records.
  • Duplicate people or organizations require a reviewed combination request.
  • Transactions, receipts, funds, balances, and payouts must be corrected in their owning financial workflow.

Do not edit a nearby profile field to compensate for an incorrect relationship or financial record. Include the affected record, current value, correct value, and supporting source when requesting a correction. Remove unnecessary private data from screenshots.
