Activity log

The Activity log records everything that happened on the organization: donations, payouts, expenses, transfers, edits to the record, publishing, access changes, and uploads. It is the place to answer “when did that happen, and who did it?”

Filter the log with the Action select — All actions, Donations, Payouts, Expenses, Transfers, Edits, Publishing, Access, Uploads — plus By (the actor), Target, Amount, and From / To dates. Clear resets them, and is disabled while nothing is set. Changing any filter returns you to page 1.

The table shows Timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM), By (the person, or System), the Action badge, Flow, Target, and Amount.

Flow is the direction of money: + Credit for donations and – Debit for expenses and payouts, with a dash when no money moved.

Every row is clickable and opens the Activity detail modal with the full entry: actor, action, target, detail and amount, frequency, payment method (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, ACH, wire transfer, or check), donation id, allocation id, processor reference, and donor email. That is what you need when a donor asks about a specific gift.

The export menu in the header downloads a CSV of every page matching your current filters — not just the page you are looking at — named activity-<slug>-<date>.csv. It carries the columns Timestamp, By, Action, Flow, Target, Amount, and Method. Set your filters first, then export.

Empty state: No activity for this filter.
